　　不难想象渔夫当场秀逗的景象，在他跨出家门的时候绝对没有想到这条鱼会这么慷慨吧！下面我们不妨来回忆一下当时的情景：

　　off the fisherman went，看起来怪怪的，跟平时见到的句子有些不同是吗？那么下面句子你熟悉吗：the fisherman went off，对，其实他们的意思相同，只不过原文中的句子倒装了。off是状语，把它提前，是为了叙述生动，衔接紧密，这种写法在故事中是很常见的。

　　比如，我们描写一个人生气时的反应：Up the man picked the copper pot那个人拎起了那把铜壶，(通过动作读者就可以体会到他的心情)至于下一步他会做什么呢，呵呵，就由你自己去想象了。

　　渔夫的新家富丽堂皇，文中用grand来形容，意思是：splendid in appearance or style, impressive，壮丽的，宏伟的。你认为什么东西可以用这个词来形容呢？群山怎么样？How grand the mountains look in the early light.晨曦中的群山是多么雄伟壮观啊！

　　不难想象，今后出入于这座grand building的应该都是那些nobles and grand ladies(贵族和贵妇人)了吧！没准客厅里还要放上a concert grand (演奏用的大三角钢琴，grand在这里做名词)或者起码也是a baby grand(小型平台钢琴)，夜夜笙歌共筹交错。

　　当然，在这样的场合少不了那些身穿燕尾服的servants的attend。而且，除此以外，在许多时候我们可能都会需要别人的attend，比如：The queen had a good doctor attending her.女王有一个好医生在照料她。He was constantly attended by his bodyguard.他经常由他的保镖保护着。

　　虽然被眼前的场景吓得目瞪口呆，可毕竟是自己的家，于是渔夫壮壮胆说：

　　"Isn't it a nice building?" the fisherman said to his wife. "We'll be happy with this all over lives."
