有一次上课时，老师突然看到一位学生右手上绑着石膏，看上去很痛苦，于是就问：

　　“才几天不见，你的手怎么了？”

　　生：“断掉了！”

　　第【1】串：be in anguish处于极度痛苦状态下

　　He is in anguish now, for he has just heard the bad news from his sister.

　　师：“啊？怎么会断掉的？？”

　　生：“因为我太懒了，所以就断掉了……”

　　第【2】串：idle worm懒蛋

　　He is such an idle worm that nobody wants to make friends with him.

　　师：“？太懒了手也会断掉？”

　　生：“不是啦，因为前几天我走在路上，走着走着有一个小石头就跑到我的鞋子里，因为我懒的把鞋脱下来把石头倒出来，就右手扶着电线杆，左脚在半空中摇啊摇，想把石头摇下来。

　　第【3】串：telegraph pole电线杆

　　The street is lined with many telegraph poles on both sides.

　　结果后面突然跑来一个人，用棍子把我的手打断了……”

　　老师很困惑，问：“为什么？？”

　　第【4】串：be in a puzzle about sth.对某事困惑不解

　　After teacher's explanation, he was still in a puzzle.

　　生：“唉，他以为我触电了。”

　　第【5】串：to get an electric shock触电

　　Today, when I was putting the plug in the socket, I got an electric shock. Fortunately, I am still alive.
