　　有人请法师为刚去世的父亲祈祷，送父亲的灵魂上西天。

　　第【1】串：koradji法师,巫师

　　I don't believe what the koradji has said. It is nothing but superstition.

　　法师索价一百元，他认为太贵了，说：“八十元可以吧？”法师同意了，于是面向东方祷告：“请灵魂上天吧。”

　　第【2】串：go to the other side上西天

　　He died yesterday and people said that he would go to the other side to enjoy his life.

　　“不对呀，”他连忙指正，“西天在西，向西边祷告才是。”“这有什么办法？”法师无可奈何地说，“上西天要一百元，八十元只能上东天。”

　　第【3】串：have no alternative别无选择，无可奈何

　　I have no alternative but to wait until she comes.

　　那人听了连忙补足一百元。法师这才转身面向西边道：“请灵魂上西天极乐世界去吧！”

　　第【4】串：Pure Land极乐世界

　　People in this village all believe that people who die would go to a Pure Land.

　　此时，棺材里面忽然发出愤怒的叫声：“你这不孝的小子，为了节省二十元，害得我东奔西走，不得安宁！”

　　第【5】串：coffin棺材

　　This kind of substance is used to keep the body in the coffin from getting rotten.
