　重点·难点·考点及疑点注释

　　1I can put it right.

　　put... right是动词短语，意为“把……修理好”。例如：

　　I can put your watch right.我能把你的表修好。

　　Can they put the car right?他们能修理好这部车吗?

　　2I do some exercise and have a light breakfast.

　　(1)light breakfast意思是“吃得较少的早餐”。

　　(2)exercise表示“健身运动”时为不可数名词。表示“练习、早操、眼保健操”等为可数名词。例如：

　　The doctor asks him to do more exercise.医生叫他多进行锻炼。

　　We often do eye exercises in the morning.我们早上经常做眼保健操。

　　They are doing maths exercises now.现在他们正在做数学练习。

　　3It takes me forty minutes.

　　(1)这是一个省略句，整个句子应该是It takes me forty minutes to drive to my office.

　　(2)It takes somebody some time to do something.是一个固定句型，意为“做某事花费某人多长时间”，其中it

　　是形式上的主语，真正的主语是to do something。例如：

　　It takes me about one hour to go to office every day.

　　我每天上班要花大约一小时的时间。

　　It takes me half an hour to do housework every day.

　　我每天花半小时的时间做家务。

　　4I think every minute counts.

　　every minute counts是一个宾语从句，作think的宾语。

　　◆注意◆count在这里不能翻译成“计数”，而应译为“重要，有价值”。例如：

　　To everyone, selfconfidence counts.对每个人来说，自信心很重要。
