　　1be able to“能，会”。表示一种能力，意思和情态动词can相近。

　　注意can及其过去式could仅分别用于一般现在和一般过去时，而be able to不限于此两种时态；还有，be able to常表经努力而具备某种能力。

　　有时也用keep on doing sth.表“反复做某事”。
