　　It’s Valentine’s Day. Jared and Diana are watching TV:

　　Jared:I’m glad I’m not one of the poor souls who spent his whole paycheck on some impractical gift today.

　　Diana:Yeah, me, too. (Oh no! Maybe he believed that I really didn’t want to celebrate Valentine’s this year!)

　　Jared:(Should I tell her that I got her a gift anyway?... Nah. What if she was serious?) So, did you get any cards’

　　Diana:Yeah. I got some from friends. Nothing special, though. You?

　　Jared:No, thankfully. I can’t stand all that emotional nonsense. (You’re the man Jared! That’ll keep her guessing.)

　　Diana:(Is he serious? Whatever. I guess I’ll just play along.) You know, Japanese chocolate companies actually invented a holiday to make even more money.

　　Jared:You mean something like a second Valentine’s Day?

　　Diana:Yeah. It’s called White Day, and it’s on March fourteenth.

　　Jared:Multiple Valentine’s Days? What’s the point of that?

　　Diana:Well, in Japan, women give men chocolate on Valentine’s Day and on White Day?

　　Jared:Men give chocolate to women?

　　Diana:You got it. Speaking of which, I have something to confess.

　　Jared:(Here it comes.) What’s up?

　　Diana:I... well ...

　　Jared:Don’t worry, Diana. I got you something, too.

　　Diana:You did? What a relief! I was worried you didn’t love me.
