一、留意比较的对象是否一致。

　　当比较的对象不一致时，可以使用名词所有格的形式(即添加's或使用of)，或者使用名词性物主代词。

　　例1：他的脸看上去比他哥哥的还要老。

　　His face looks older than his brother's.

　　(如果漏掉了's ，那么就成了"他的脸"与"他哥哥的人"作比较了，不同的对象，无法进行比较。)

　　例2：她的眼睛要比我的亮。

　　Her eyes are brighter than mine.

　　(如果使用了人称代词的主格或宾格或其他的形式，那么就无法比较了。)

　　例3：济南的天气和北京的一样好。

　　The weather of Jinan is as good as that of Beijing.

　　(如果漏掉了that of ，就成了济南的天气和北京这个地方作比较了，范围不同，无法进行比较。)
