　　培养良好的阅读习惯

　　1.要讲求阅读速度。在生词不超过5%的阅读材料中，一般读速为每分钟60—80个单词。为达到快速阅读并提高能力的目的，要改掉不良习惯，养成默读习惯，使注意力集中在文字符号上，纠正唇读、心读、喉读，克服一遇生词即翻词典或逐词翻译等做法，以免分散精力，影响阅读速度。

　　2.要养成视读或成组视读的习惯。阅读时视线由左至右移动，跳动式阅读，重点是扫描意群。多注意实词，一些虚词和非重点词一扫而过，搜索重要信息。

　　3.善于抓住段落的中心句或主旨句，善于利用构词法、上下文等猜测词意。

　　4.注重限时阅读训练。如果你做题慢的话，平时就应该在规定时间内完成阅读练习。速度一快，时间久了，你的注意力就能高度集中，临考才不会手忙脚乱。这样的训练对培养良好的阅读习惯是有很大帮助的。

　　英语阅读能力的培养是一个渐进的复杂过程，要养成每天阅读英语的良好习惯，循序渐进，持之以恒，精泛结合，广泛猎奇。在潜移默化中你会感觉到你的阅读能力又有了长足的提高。

　　A poor farmer had never left his small village.After he earned plenty of money, he decided to spend a holiday in an excellent hotel in a big town.①

　　Tell,ask, want, teach, trouble, like 等动词后常跟带to的动词不定式作宾语补足语。例如：

　　节约时间就是延长生命。To save time is to lengthen life.

　　福无双至，祸不单行。Troubles never come singly.

　　2. A red flag means that it is dangerous for anybody to go into the water.一面红旗表示任何人进入水里都是危险的。(Line 8, Passage 3)

　　“It's+adj+of/for sb.to do sth.” 是一常见句型，其中的it 是形式主语，后面的动词不定式(短语)才是真正的主语。另外，此句型中用of 还是for 取决于其前的形容词，若形容词表示的是人的品质、性格(如： kind, nice, clever, right…)，需用of；若形容词只是对动作的一般性描述(如：difficult, dangerous, important…)，则用for。例如：

　　It's nice of you to say so.你这样说真是太好了。

　　It's important for us to learn English well.对我们来说学好英语很重要。
