It’s long hours but I like my work. A You work so hard! Nearly every day of the week! B I know. But I’m lucky compared to most people. A How come? In what ways are you lucky? B Because I love what I do. It’s long hours but I love my work. A I guess most people don’t really love their work – it’s just a job. B Yes, they have to do it. They have to earn money. But for me it’s different. 1 Remember how you can use so / so before an adjective to make it stronger and give it emphasis, e.g.: You work so hard / You work so hard; It’s so cold today / It’s so cold today; I’m so tired / I’m so tired. 例如:You work so hard /你工作如此努力; It’s so cold today / 今天这么冷;I’m so tired /我太累了。 2 Remember also how to use have to . . / have to . . when you describe things which must be done, e.g. They have to work / They have to work; They have to earn money / They have to earn money. . .例如:They have to work / 他们得工作; They have to earn money /他们得挣钱。
