　　The Pains Of Growing Up

　　Good morning everyone, today my topic is “ the pains of growing up ”

　　Once, a benign lady went by a butterfly, which was trying to emerge out of the chrysalis. It looked so hard, so painful that she couldn’t help but to give a hand. Tragically, it was unable to fly. A biologist have said that the butterfly’s struggles for coming out from the chrysalis was just a normal stage of its life, only in this way can it strengthen its wings, otherwise it will never be able to fly in the air.

　　This story made me realize the ways of our teen lives. Some mistakes we have made were just the prices we had to pay for growing up, and some frustrations we have faced were training courses we had to take for our maturity.

　　However, nowadays some parents are trying to protect us from those difficulties, they do what they think is the best, but, in fact, they treat us the same as the lady to the butterfly. I believe if we don’t face any difficulties ourselves, we’ll never be successful.

　　As teenagers, we need advises but not blames, we need suggestions but not rules, we need help but not complete blindness. We should live in an open society not under wings of our parents.

　　No pain, no gain. That’s the rule of growing up.

　　成长的代价

　　大家好，今天我演讲的主题是“成长的代价”

　　曾经，有这么一位善良的女士，路过一只蝴蝶，一只正欲破蛹而出的蝴蝶。它看起来是如此的痛苦，如此的艰难，以至于这位好心的女士禁不住动手去帮这只蝴蝶挣脱出来。不幸的是，这只蝴蝶却怎么也飞不起来了。生物学家说，蝴蝶从蛹中挣脱的过程是它生命中的一个必然阶段，只有通过这样的过程，它的翅膀才能够变得更加坚韧有力。否则，它便永远不能飞。

　　这个故事是我联想到我们青少年的生活。我们所犯的这样那样的错误是我们成长过程中必须付出的代价，我们所面对的各种各样的挫折使我们走向成熟过程中必修的课。

　　然而，时下一些父母正试图保护我们免遭这些困难，他们认为他们的做法是最好的，事实上，他们对待我们就像那位好心的女士对待那只蝴蝶一样。而我认为，如果我们不能自己面对这些困难，我们将无法获得成功。

　　作为青少年，我们需要忠告，而不是斥责；我们需要建议，而不是成规；我们需要帮助，而不是盲从。我们应当生活在一个开放的社会里，而不是在父母的羽翼之下。

　　一份耕耘，一份收获。这，就是成长的规律。

　　Mickey Mouse’s Philosophy

　　One may wonder, why is Mickey Mouse so popular? Sure he’s cute, and it’s true that he’s smart, but… that’s not it.

　　The true answer lies deep inside of him — his spirits are what really cast that light, that special something, upon his characteristics.

　　A coin has two sides, so does a sword, and Mickey Mouse never fails to discover the beautiful side of things. Through his daily life, he tells us that happiness is all around us. It could be by the fireplace during a harsh storm, in a cool breeze on a hot day, it could be on the falling leaves of autumn, or in the coming of spring after the cruel winter.

　　We should always remember Mickey Mouse’s philosophy, and should always look on the bright side of things. When all else fails, always keep in mind: The sun is still bright and the sky is still blue, and no matter how bad the storm was, there’s a jackpot at the end of every rainbow.

　　Mickey Mouse is not just a cartoon character, but also a philosopher, in his own way.

　　米老鼠的哲学

　　有些人可能会好奇，为什么米老鼠那么受欢迎呢？可以肯定的是，它非常可爱，而且也很聪明，但这些都不是其原因。那么的特殊，就是因为它的那种精神。

　　万事都具有两面性，而米老鼠总是可以发掘它们美丽的一面。通过它的日常生活，它告诉了我们快乐是无处不在的。暴风雨来临时，它可能在温暖的壁炉旁，酷暑中，也可能在清风带来的一丝凉意中，它可能坐在秋天的落叶上，也可能伴随着寒冬后的春天到来。

　　我们应当牢记住米老鼠的哲学，应当看到事物的闪光点。当别无其他办法是自己快乐起来的时候，告诉自己：太阳还闪耀着光芒，天空也还蓝。不管之前的暴风雨有多么的可怕，只要记住，每个彩虹的另一端都有一罐金币。

　　米老鼠不仅是一个卡通人物，还是一位伟大的哲学家。
