A Dutch artist has turned his dead cat into a mini working helicopter so as to pay tribute to his feline friend, The Mirror reported。

Bart Jasen said his cat, Orville, was named after legendary aviator Orville Wright。

Jansen said the "Orvillecopter," which is being displayed at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam, is a tribute to his beloved pet。

Four rotors were installed at the four ends of the stuffed deceased animal's limbs, creating enough thrust for a take-off。

The artist said his "half cat, half machine" creation will soon be "flying with the birds."
