　　“Iron Man 3”has now taken in more than $680 million worldwide. After hitting the theatersin North America on May 3, its first weekend’sbox office takings in this area reached $175.3 million, which was only behindthe opening weekend gross of “Avengers”($207.4 million)。

　　《钢铁侠3》目前已在全球范围内席卷6.8亿多美元。该片于5月3日登陆北美院线，首周末便在北美地区收获1.753亿美元，仅次于《复仇者联盟》曾以2.074亿美元创下的首周末票房纪录。

　　The film set a new first-day box office record in the Chinesemainland, taking 130 million yuan on May 1. It has grossed over 400 millionyuan in the Chinese mainland until now。

　　The film’s appeal in China may have something to do withadditional scenes added into the Chinese version of the film, which is fourminutes longer than the original one. The extra footage features two newcharacters, played by Wang Xueqi and Fan Bingbing。
