5月12日下午，在人民大会堂东门外广场举行的欢迎土库曼斯坦总统库尔班古力•别尔德穆哈梅多夫来访的仪式上，来自三军仪仗队的13名女队员精彩亮相。她们和男队员组成151人最大阵容的仪仗队，接受了两国领导人的检阅。这是我国历史上的首批仪仗女兵。

三军“仪仗队”现女兵

　　我国首批13名人民解放军仪仗队女兵周一首次亮相。

　　仪仗队(Honor Guard)，也叫Ceremonial Guard，是军队中执行礼仪任务的分队，由陆、海、空三军人员共同组成，象征着国家或军队的最高礼仪。仪仗队供到访元首检阅(provide detachments for review by visiting heads of state)是其常见的任务之一。

　　中国人民解放军三军仪仗队(Combined Honor Guard of the People's Liberation Army)与军乐队(military band)，礼炮队(gun salute unit)共同承担不同规格的司礼任务。
