　　尊敬的各位领导，尊敬的中加方老师、各位家长[微博]和亲爱的同学们：大家好！

　　我是12年级1班张晗同学的家长，今天我非常高兴参加孩子人生中最隆重的毕业典礼，而且非常荣幸作为家长代表在这具有重要意义的毕业典礼上发言。

　　张晗：

　　Honorable Leaders, Honorable Canadian and Chinese Teachers,

　　Distinguished Parents, Dear Students,

　　Good afternoon。

　　I am the parent of Mario Zhang from Class 1 of Grade 12 on Boys’ Campus. I am delighted to attend the greatest Commencement for my son ever. I am honored to deliver this speech as the representative of the parents here。

　　Cindy’s mother：

　　It is my pleasure to have this opportunity to address this speech。

　　I am this year’s graduate, Cindy Lee’s mother. I have three children, and all three of them have been educated at Maple Leaf. My eldest graduated from Maple Leaf two years ago. And my youngest son is in grade 11.

　　Cindy：

　　我很荣幸能有这次机会向大家致辞。 我是今年的毕业生Cindy Lee的母亲。我有三个孩子，他们都就读于枫叶学校，其中最大的孩子前年已经从枫叶毕业，而最小的儿子现正读高二。

　　张晗父亲：

　　三年来，我亲历了孩子的蜕变与进步，见证了孩子超越自我的成长过程。张晗高一从文字编辑成长为“枫暴”杂志社总编辑及社长，高二进入“周恩来班”并成为学生会新闻部部长及广播站站长，与朋友在上海注册公司并成功运营，高三收到多伦多大学的录取通知书。作为家长，在分享孩子成功喜悦的同时，更深深地懂得孩子取得的每一次进步，都离不开拥有先进教育理念的枫叶国际学校的校领导和爱岗敬业的中加方老师们的关心和帮助，是枫叶国际学校给了张晗完成自我蜕变的环境，给了孩子一个光明的前程。

　　张晗：

　　In Grade 10, he progressed from an editor into the editor-in-chief and leader of the popular Maple Storm; In Grade 11, he became a member of the Zhou Enlai Class which is the most prestigious class at Maple Leaf, becoming the Director of information department in the Students’ Union, and Director of the Broadcasting Station; he set up a company in Shang Hai, running it successfully as well. And now, Mario has recently received an admission offer from the University of Toronto. The last three years witnessed my son’s transformation into an excellent student. As the parent of Mario, while sharing the pleasure of his success, I am fully aware of the fact that each of my son’s successes at Maple Leaf wouldn’t have happened without the concern and help from the school leaders and the teachers who demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment to their students. It is Maple Leaf that gave him a positive environment to grow。

　　Cindy’s mother：

　　As for Cindy, for the last three years her knowledge has been greatly broadened. Her Chinese(and English) improved. You are witnessing the result now. Besides her academic success, she has met various friends who have experienced variety of cultures. Had she not been a student in Maple leaf International High school, she might not have opportunities participating variety of activities like MUN, Starlight Orchestra, school newspaper and etc。

　　I thank you, all the teachers for your teaching and guidance, owing to that, students could grow as they are now。

　　Cindy：

　　对于Cindy来说，在枫叶求学的三年中，她极大扩展了自己的知识水平，提高了汉语及英语能力，此刻您正在见证她的进步成果。在学业成就之外，她也结识了很多来自五湖四海的朋友，体验了多元文化。她不仅是大连枫叶国际学校的一名学生，同时也有机会参与到各种各样的活动当中，如模拟联合国，星光管弦乐团及学校校报等。我在此感谢所有老师，谢谢你们给予孩子的教育与指导。因为你们，孩子们才能成长到今天。

　　张晗父亲：

　　在这里，我们想代表全体家长感谢中加教师，你们尽职尽责的教育和培养，让孩子们拥有“诚信、刻苦、自信、创新” 的优秀品质；感谢领事们像亲人一样，给予孩子们细致入微的关心与呵护；感谢具有先进教育理念枫叶领导，将中西教育优化融合，为孩子提供了展示才华，全面成长的平台，让孩子们成为懂得感恩、懂得奉献、懂得担当的国际化学生。同时，也请孩子们记住，不管你们将来飞得有多高，成就有多大，都不要忘记，是枫叶给了你们腾飞的翅膀，永远记得常回母校，看望你们亲爱的老师们。

　　At this exciting moment of Commencement, please allow me to express our gratitude on behalf of all the parents here, to Canadian and Chinese teachers, who make great efforts to cultivate and mold our children with the moral qualities of dignity, diligence, confidence, and innovation；And to those who work at Maple Leaf as if they are parents, and provide our children with considerate care and help; And to the leaders who have advanced educational philosophy, blending the best of Chinese and Canadian education, giving our children a stage that allows them to fully develop their ability and aptitude, letting our children have grateful and charitable hearts and a sense of responsibility. At the same time, please students keep in mind, however high you fly in the future, whatever success you achieve in the future, do not forget that it is Maple Leaf that gives you the ability and opportunity to fly freely and high, and always remember to revisit your alma mater and your teachers often after your graduation。

　　Lastly I thank Mr.Sherman Jung for your effort to make this school a better place to study。
