　　在给同学们上课时,同学们经常会问我说,“宋老师,您看今年的作文题会考什么题?您能预测下么?”说实话,预测当年的考试题是一个吃力不讨好的工作,预测准了那是运气,预测不对,又会造人诟病,觉得难堪.其实,去年也斗胆开始预测(见博文: <2008年硕士研究生入学考试英语作文主题个人预测>链接地址:blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_4aa9d72e01008dsa.html),预测了三大类,其中有一个是预测了友谊和团结,而08年大作文考试的主题是合作.跟友谊和团结还算搭边.所以今年就斗胆再预测下,供大家参考!

　　一、小作文

　　小作文这个题型是在2005年才开始出现的，已经考了四年了。05年考的是给王先生写一封辞职信，告诉他你的决定，阐明原因并且要给王先生道歉；06年要求考生给希望工程写一封信寻求一个学生给他提供资助；07年要求你给学校图书馆写一封建议信来时期提高自己服务。08年要求写一封道歉信.

　　2009年的考研小作文究竟会考什么？具体内容是什么？根据个人自己的分析，给大家提一点自己的想法供大家参考。

　　第一：让大家写一封信的可能性最大，别的应用文的形式稍微注意一下通知的格式就可以了。

　　第二：考查的具体内容最有可能是一封感谢信。感谢信用于写信人对收信人表达感激之情的应用文，因而强调感情真挚。但也要根据两者的关系判断使用正式或者非正式语体。正式感谢信行文得体，用词谦恭，格式规范；非正式感谢信语气亲切。

　　写作格式：

　　第一段：表达感谢之情并说明原因；

　　第二段：细述并赞赏对方给与的帮助；

　　第三段：再次表达谢意并表达回报愿望。

　　感谢信的开头结尾以及一些注意的句子见下面。

　　再次为你的盛情款待而表示感谢，非常希望能尽快见到你。

　　I would like to take this opportunity to express my great appreciation for your timely help and assistance.

　　范文：

　　Directions: Suppose you have just come back from a business trip with a delegation. Write a letter to your host company who received you to express your gratitude for their hospitality, describe the help they gave you and offer to repay their help.

　　You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead.

　　You do not need to write the address. (10 points)

　　Dear Pres. Smith,

　　I am writing this letter to thank you for your warm hospitality accorded to me and my delegation during our recent visit to your company. I would also like to thank you for your interesting discussion with me which I have found very informative and useful.

　　During the entire visit, my delegation and I were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm expressed by your business representatives on cooperation with our company. I sincerely hope we could have more exchanges like this one when we would be able to continue our interesting discussion on possible ways to expand our economic and trade cooperation.

　　I feel obliged to thank you once more, and I am looking forward to your early visit to our company when I will be able to pay back some of the hospitality I received during my memorable stay in your company.
