　　I started　following @2sisters_angie a little over a year ago. Back then she was posting the typical stuff you see from moms on Instagram -- pics of her daughter at the park and pics of her daughter eating breakfast。几年前我在instagram上关注了@2sisters_angie这个账号，那时她发的就是些母亲们经常发的东西：女儿在公园的照片，女儿吃早饭的照片。

　　Then, about nine months ago, Angie's feed started to change. It became clear Angie's daughter (she calls her "Mayhem") was more interested in fashion than the average 4-year-old. Mayhem shunned her store-bought princess dresses and started wrapping herself with scarves and sheets creating her own styles。大概9个月前开始，这个账号变得不太一样了。比起其他4岁的小孩，Angie的女儿(她叫女儿Mayhem)显然对时尚有更为浓厚的兴趣。Mayhem抛开从商店买来的公主裙，开始用围巾和床单包裹自己，打造自己的风格。

　　Then one day Angie got tired of finding her clothes in Mayhem's toy box and suggested they make a dress out of paper. Mayhem loved the idea and they haven't stopped creating paper dresses since。然后有一天，Angie厌倦了总是在女儿的玩具盒里找到自己的衣服，于是提议用纸来做裙子。Mayhem喜欢这个主意，从此她们便一直用纸来制作裙子。

　　I've been continually amazed every time Angie's pictures pop up in my feed。每次我浏览订阅的内容看到Angie晒出的照片，总会对她们的作品惊叹不已。

　　Having a 4-year-old daughter of my own, I had a few questions for Angie。因为我自己也有个4岁的女儿，我向Angie请教了些问题。

　　How much is done by you and how much is done by your daughter?每件作品有多少是你做的，多少是你女儿做的？

　　The ideas are pretty much a 50/50 split, but Mayhem constructs a lot more than most people would probably believe. That's one of the best things about this project, I see her learning new skills every single day. At this point, she can lay the entire thing out and tape it together all by herself. Definitely, the more complex designs have more of my time invested, but she's literally always beside me learning something new。五五开吧，Mayhem所做的远远超出了大多数人的想象。我每天看着她学习新技能，这是此事最好的方面之一。现在她已经能够自己设计整条裙子，并把东西粘贴起来。当然，设计越复杂，我投入的精力就越多，但是Mayhem一直在我身边跟我学。

　　Are all the dresses made of paper?所有的裙子都是用纸做的吗？

　　Most of the time. We use a lot of construction paper, but we also use tissue paper, wrapping paper, and gift bags. We have also used silk scarves, tulle, and aluminum foil. Clear packing tape and glue are our adhesives of choice。大多都是。我们用了很多美术纸，但是我们也会用棉纸、包装纸和礼品袋，此外我们还用到过丝巾、薄纱和铝箔。干净的包扎带和胶水是我们的黏合工具。

　　Where does she find her inspiration? Is she watching runway shows and award shows?你女儿是从哪里找设计灵感的？她有看T台走秀和颁奖典礼吗？

　　We pull inspiration from wherever we go. The shark dress, for example, came as a direct result of her first visit to an aquarium。我们从去过的任何地方找灵感。比如说这条鲨鱼裙，就是她第一次去水族馆后获得的灵感。
