175万亿津巴布韦元只换5美金

　　Zimbabwe is phasing out its local currency, the central bank says, formalising a multi-currency system introduced during hyper-inflation。津巴布韦央行称，该国将逐步取消本国货币，在高通货膨胀期间引入的多货币体系将被正式化。

　　Foreign currencies like the US dollar and South African rand have been used for most transactions since 2009.自2009年开始，该国大多数交易中都使用美元、南非兰特等外币。

　　Local dollars are not used except high-denomination notes sold as souvenirs。除了将大面额钞票作为纪念品出售外，人们不使用津巴布韦元。

　　But from Monday, Zimbabweans can exchange bank accounts of up to 175 quadrillion (175,000,000,000,000,000) Zimbabwean dollars for five US dollars。但从周一起，津巴布韦人最多可以用175千万亿津巴布韦元银行存款兑换5美元。

　　Higher balances will be exchanged at a rate of Z$35 quadrillion to US$1.超出这一额度后的汇率为35千万亿津巴布韦元兑1美元。

　　The move has been "pending and long outstanding," central bank Governor John Mangudya said, quoted by Bloomberg。彭博社援引央行长官约翰·曼古亚的发言称，这一举措在过去被“暂停并长期搁置”。

　　"We cannot have two legal currency systems. We need therefore to safeguard the integrity of the multiple-currency system or dollarization in Zimbabwe."“我们不能有两套法定的货币体系。因此我们必须要么保障健全的多货币体系，要么保障健全的津巴布韦元。”

　　Zimbabweans have until the end of September to exchange their local dollars。津巴布韦人必须在9月底前兑换津巴布韦元。

　　Correspondents say this is likely to only affect those with savings accounts。记者认为这只会影响有储蓄账户的人。

　　Hyper-inflation saw prices in shops change several times a day, severe shortages of basic goods and Zimbabweans taking their money to market in wheelbarrows。高通货膨胀使得商店里的价格一天变化好几次，日常用品也变得严重短缺，此外，津巴布韦人还会用独轮车推着钱去市场。
