It's fair to say that Disney princesses aren't exactly an accurate representation of the female body.
With their wide eyes, smooth skin and tiny waists they embody a 'flawless' image, however one artist interpretation has taken a more realistic view.
Portugese artist Isaque Arêas has reimagined six beloved female leads as they would look now if they had continued to age after the film was made.

Isaque, 22, worked out each woman's age based on how old they were when the movie was released. Pictured: Mulan who would now be 33 years old.
Isaque has been drawing since he was a child, originally sketching characters from comic books. Pictured: Belle from Beauty and the Beast now 41.
The older princesses show signs of aging with their hair greying and fine lines starting to crease their skin. Pictured: Aurora from Sleeping Beauty now aged 72.
The artist has also dressed them in what he interprets to be age appropriate clothing. Pictured: Cinderella would be 84 in 2015.
Snow White is the oldest of the princesses now at the grand old age of 92 - she was just 14 when she appeared in her 1937 Disney adaptation.
