职责描述 Duties and Responsibilities Processes weekly payrolls including vendorizing client information, cross referencing, running and assembling reports, and packaging of payrolls to ensure set deadlines are met Understands and ensures all company policies and procedures are followed Wraps shows and ensures all year-end procedures are completed including answering all general T4 and T4A inquiries Compiles and cross references union remits Prepares and reissues stop/stale dated payroll cheques Drafts external letters and memos as required Liaises with other departments to resolve payroll related matters Prepares various reports for clients as requested Liaises with production accountants and union offices as required Interprets and applies multiple union contracts Keeps current with Canadian Employment Standards and Labour Legislation Attends weekly staff meeting and provides pertinent information to others in the department Performs general office filing Performs other related duties as assigned by their Supervisor 工作经历和教育描述 Experience and Education CPA Level 1 – Introduction to Payroll (Preferred) Minimum 2 years solid experience working in a payroll environment Knowledge and understanding of Canadian Labour Legislation and Employment Standards (preferred) Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to perform high levels of data-entry, under pressure, with a high level of accuracy Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Experience with unionized payroll an asset |
