　　trodden是动词tread的过去分词。tread on something/somebody means set one’s foot down; walk or step on指踩，行走，踏的意思。例如：She trod lightly so as not to wake the baby.她的步子很轻，以免惊醒孩子。

　　tread还有一些固定的搭配，例如：tread on air欢天喜地，tread on somebody’s corns/toes冒犯/得罪某人tread on somebody’s heels紧跟某人。

　　tread和介词还有一些常用的搭配，如：tread something in/down/out: press or crush something with the feet踩紧会踩碎某物。例如：Don’t tread you ashsintosmy carpet!别把你的烟灰踩到我的地毯里。

　　躲避灾害，保护自身，这是一种本能的反应，连虫蚁也知道，更何况人类。所以，在某些时候，我们必须懂得适时的避开锋芒，这样才会有安全的生存空间。
