RO: Do you get nervous when you see it the first time? RG: I still get nervous when I shoot. RO: You do? RG: Oh, yeah. RO: But not every day, just in the beginning? RG: No, every day. RO: Really? RG: Nerves comes up before every shot. Sure it does. It's a different energy that comes up. The energy of us sitting here talking is not the energy that works on film. RO: When I was a VJ(电视综艺节目主持人) and there was no audience-just me and the camera-it's a whole different mode of performing. I need an audience.(当我是个综艺节目主持人的时候,没有观众,就我和摄象机,所以表现是截然不同的。我需要观众。) RG: Sure. They're alive, breathing human beings, and you want to connect with them. And of course it's a totally different conversation than in front of a live audience. RO: Still remember your first acting job? (还记得你演的第一场戏么?) RG: The first job I had was a college job, I was a sophomore (大二学生) in college. I was 19, and I felt like, "My life hasn't started yet. Why am I wasting my time?" So I met someone there who was working with the Seattle Theatre(西雅图剧场), so I left school. Then I met someone else whose wife was an agent in New York, and she said come to New York if you want to. (注:里察说他在大学里演了一场戏后,就辍学到纽约开始表演生涯。) |
