  If you are just starting to collect stamps, here is some advice for you to follow.

  (2)afford意为“买得起;负担得起”,常与can, could等词连用。例如:

  I can not afford a house at present.目前我买不起房子。

  5.pick up非常便宜地买到

  pick up是一多义词,主要有以下含义:拾起,捡起;(车、船等)中途搭人或载货;(从收音机中)收听到;用较少的钱买到;偶然获得,偶然找到
