　　China could send its second manned spaceship, Shenzhou VI,sintosspace within one or two years in the wake of the successful Shenzhou V mission, senior officials said yesterday.

And the Shenzhou VI mission is not planned to involve space walking and docking, said Zhou Xiaofei, director of the manned space engineering office under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, which is responsible for the development of the Shenzhou spaceship. Putting a humansintosspace is the first step of three steps in China's manned space programme, Xie said. The second step is to achieve space walking and docking, develop and launch a space lab, and solve problems relating to its short-term use. The third is to build a space station and solve the problem relating to its long-term use.

　　【讲解】dock，To couple (two or more spacecraft, for example) in space.使空间对接使(两艘太空船)空间对接；还有一个意思是To deprive of a benefit or a part of one's wages, especially as a punishment。扣罚，从工资中扣掉一部分或扣掉利益，尤其用来表示惩罚：The company docks its employees for unauthorized absences.公司因其职员无端缺勤而扣其工资。习惯用语in dock, out nettle的意思变化无常,前后不一致。

　　Xie said in the efforts to master the techniques for space walking, docking and operating a space lab, China is willing to learn from Russia and the United States.
