　　1What's up?

　　在这里be up是非正式用语，相当于What's the matter？意为“发生；出事”。肯定回答可以是：OK. /Good idea. /All right./Sure.I'd

　　love to./Certainly.等。否定回答可以是：No, thanks./Thank you for asking me, but I can't.等。例如：

　　What's up? Why are you crying?出什么事了?你哭什么?

　　2Shall we go to the zoo?

　　(1)人们常用Shall we...?来征求对方的意见或向对方提出建议、发出邀请等。例如：

　　Shall we have a walk along the river?去河边散散步，好吗?

　　Shall we play basketball after school?我们放学后打篮球，好吗?

　　3I hear there's a dolphin show there.

　　句中there's a dolphin show there是hear的宾语从句。其中there's是there

　　is的缩略形式，there指in the zoo。

　　4How can we get there?

　　在询问方式时，常用how引出问题。例如：

　　How do you usually come to school?你通常怎样上学?

　　How does he go to work?他怎样去上班?

　　5Why not meet a little earlier?

　　(1)why not是一种表示建议的提问方式，相当于why don't you...?例如：

　　Why not sit down and have a cup of tea?为什么不坐下喝杯茶?

　　(2)对上述问题的回答是：OK. Let's.../All right./That's a good idea. /If you say so.或者直接陈述一种理由。例如：

　　①—Why don't you come with us?

　　为什么不和我们一起去呢?

　　—Why not？Let's go.

　　怎么不?走吧。

　　②—Why don't you make it earlier?

　　为什么不能早点儿完成呢?

　　—I am busy these days.

　　近来我有点忙。

　　6Let's make it half past nine.

　　这里的make是“定在”“说定”“约定”的意思。例如：

　　Let's make it at seven.

　　我们定在7点钟吧。
