　　1Who's on duty today?今天谁值日?

　　on duty是一习惯用法，意思是“值日”或“值班”。例如：

　　Li mei is on duty today.李梅今天值日。

　　注意duty前没有冠词。

　　2Are we all here?大家都来了吗?

　　No.没有。此句与“Is everyone here today?”意思相近，其答句也相同。是用来询问是否到齐或有无缺席情况时的用语。

　　(1)all是代词，表示“全体”、“大家”的意思。all作主语同位语，放在be动词后，行为动词之前。例如：

　　We are all students.我们都是学生。

　　(2)Are we all here?是一般疑问句，可用“Yes, we are.”或“No, we aren't.”来回答。

　　(3)No是对问句的否定回答，表示“没有全部到”，通常接着说：“... isn't here.”或“... aren't here.”。例如：

　　—Are you all here?你们都到齐了吗?

　　—No, Li Lei and Lily aren't here.不，李雷和莉莉没到。

　　3Where are they?他们在哪里?

　　对人物的去向进行调查时常用这句话。例如：

　　Where is he?他在哪儿?

　　Sorry, I don't know.对不起，我不知道。

　　4I think they are at home.我想他们在家里。

　　在委婉地表达自己的意见、看法时，人们常用“I think....”。例如：

　　I think Liu Ping is on duty today.我想刘平今天值日。
