动名词在历年的高考中占有重要位置，是高考的热点内容之一，其考点分布如下：

　　一、作主语

　　Fishing is his favorite hobby ,and ____.(2001上海)

　　二、作宾语

　　动名词和动词不定式都可在句子中作主语和宾语。其区别主要是：动名词表达泛指或抽象的多次性行为；而动词不定式则往往表达具体的或一次性的动作。

　　1.在某些动词后只能用动名词作宾语，而不能用动词不定式。有这类用法的动词及短语动词常见的有admit,appreciate,avoid,consider(考虑),delay,dislike,enjoy,escape,finish,imagine,include,mind,miss,practice,resist,risk,suggest,can't help(禁不住),feel like,give up等。例如：

　　I really appreciate ____ to relax with you on this nice island.(2001上海)

　　A.to have had time B.having time

　　C.to have time D.to having time

　　2.在某些动词后既可以用动词不定式作宾语，也可以用动名词作宾语，但意思不同。stop后接动名词时，是及物动词，动名词在句子中作宾语，表示"停止某个动作"；后接动词不定式时，是不及物动词，动词不定式在句子中作目的状语，表示"停下来去做另一件事"。forget后接动名词时，表示"忘记了曾经做过某事"；后接动词不定式时，表示"忘记了要做某事"。remember后接动名词时，表示"记得曾经做过某事"；后接动词不定式时，表示"记得要做某事"。regret后接动名词时，表示"后悔做了某事"；后接动词不定式时，表示"遗憾、抱歉"。try后接动名词时，表示"试着做某事"；后接动词不定式时，表示"设法做某事"。mean后接动名词时，表示"意味着"；后接动词不定式时，表示"打算做某事"。例如：

　　1)-You were brave enough to raise objections at the meeting .

　　3.在动词need,want,require之后，可以用动名词的主动式作宾语，表达被动意义；而其后接动词不定式时，须用被动式表达被动意义。例如：

　　4.某些短语动词中的"to"是介词，不要将其误解为动词不定式符号，常用的有devote...to...,get used to,look forward to,pay attention to等。例如：

　　三、动名词的复合结构

　　名词所有格或形容词性物主代词后加动名词，即构成动名词复合结构。动名词复合结构在句中作主语时，其名词或代词一般用属格；但当动名词复合结构在句中作宾语时，其名词或代词也可用名词通格或代词宾格形式。例如：
