词汇学习是语言学习的一个重要问题,也是最令中学生头疼的方面。究其原因,主要是缺乏科学有效的方法。为此,本人拟结合自己的多年的教学经验谈几点看法:

　　一、要掌握相关的构词法知识

　　掌握一定的构词法知识,对于记忆单词会大有帮助,尤其是记忆长单词。例如:

　　1.利用词缀分析法记忆单词

　　international(由词根nation和形容词后缀-al及前缀inter-构成,inter-意为"……之间")

　　independent(由depend和形容词后缀-ent及前缀in-构成)

　　disagreement(由词根agree加否定前缀dis-和名词后缀-ment构成)

　　impolite (否定前缀im-+polite)

　　unforgettable (否定前缀un-+forget+形容词后缀-able)

　　preparation (prepare+名词后缀-tion)

　　高一上册可通过词缀法掌握的单词有:

　　形容词后缀:

　　-al (-cal) cultural, facial, formal, global, musical, national, professional, traditional, original, universal, classical

　　-ous adventurous, dangerous, famous, poisonous

　　-able unforgettable, miserable, valuable

　　-ful beautiful, harmful, peaceful

　　-tive attractive, native, negative

　　名词后缀:

　　-ty cruelty, electricity, majority, similarity, variety

　　-ment argument, agreement, appointment, department, environment, endangerment, equipment, excitement, government, movement, statement

　　-tion(-sion) action, destination, exhibition, pollution, preparation, pronunciation, organization, situation, suggestion, transportation, expression, impression

　　-ing feeling, shooting, weightlifting, diving, building, drawing

　　-ness happiness, illness

　　动词后缀:

　　-ize(-ise) apologize, organise

　　副词后缀:

　　-ly simply, responsibly, sincerely, totally

　　前缀:

　　re- repeat, replace, represent, restore, rebuild, recreate, remind

　　ex- exchange, example, express

　　un- unhappy, unfold, unexpected, unforgettable

　　dis- disabled, disagree(ment)

　　in-(im-/il-) indirect, impolite, illegal

　　还有handsome, southern, European, tourism, actress, actor, competitor, artist, package, behaviour, automobile, endanger, forehead, international, interview等。
