　　Hi!My name is Kate.I come from England but now I live and work in China.I look very happy.

　　In England many young people have a party on their birthday.Some children take their friends ice-skating,some take them swimming and some take them bowling. Some children have a party at McDonalds.I think the most interesting party is one that you have at your home.On the day of the party you put balloons outside your front door,so that your friends can find your house.

　　We eat lots of nice food at the party:sandwiches,crisps,small cakes,chocolate biscuits,jelly and ice-cream.A large birthday cake is put on the table.We all sing happy birthday and the boy or girl who is having the birthday party makes a wish and blows out the candles on the cake.There isa candle for each year of your age.

　　We love playing games.There are lots of traditional party games.In one game we have to get an apple out of a bucket of water using only our mouths,in another someone draws a picture of a donkey and we have to close our eyes and put the donkey's tail in the right place on the picture.Many games use music.We dance to music and then when the music stops we stand very still.The person who doesn't stand still is out of the game.The winner is the last person left in the game.
