I.常用句式

　　1.最常用的直接提出建议的方式是用let's；也常用Let's..., shall we?例如：

　　Let's start now.我们现在就开始吧。

　　Let's leave Exercise 3 until last, shall we?我们把练习三留到最后完成，好吗？

　　2.用how about或what about加名词或动名词表示。例如：

　　How about another song, children?孩子们，再来唱一首歌好吗？

　　What about checking the answers on your own this time?这次你们自己来检查答案好吗？

　　3.用what if和动词短语提出建议。例如：

　　What if you start(ed) with "please"?你们用"please"开头怎么样？

　　What if we change(d) the word order?我们改变一下词的顺序怎么样？

　　4.用what about if和how about if表示。例如：

　　What about if we learn(ed) the vocabulary on Page 75 as well?我们把75页上的词汇也学一下怎么样。

　　How about if we go to the next exercise?我们继续下一个练习怎么样？

　　5.用why not, why don't we和couldn't we引导的问句表示。例如：

　　Why not join us?为什么不加入我们？

　　Why don't we act this conversation out?我们为什么不把这个对话表演出来呢？

　　Couldn't we say that in a simpler way?难道我们没有更简单的表达方式吗？

　　6.用命令句式加I think, don't you think和perhaps表示。例如：

　　I think we should concentrate on the exceptions to this rule.我认为我们应该把注意力集中在这条规则的特殊情况下。

　　Part 5 can be left out, don't you think?第五部分可忽略，你认为呢？

　　Perhaps you should check the vocabulary at the back.也许你应该核对一下后面的词汇表。

　　7.用短语I suggest, I would suggest, may I suggest, my suggestion is表示。例如：

　　I suggest(that) you omit the relative.我建议你省略关系词。

　　I would suggest using no more than 100 words in your summary.我建议你们的摘要使用的单词不超过100字。

　　My suggestion is (that) you go through these sentences again at home.我的建议是你们回家把这些句子再复习一遍。

　　8.用may, can, need表示。例如：

　　We may check new words next time.我们可以下一次再检查新单词。

　　You can stand up and read out the words of the song louder.你可以站起来把歌词高声说出来。

　　9.用"You'd better +不定式"表示。例如：

　　You'd better go to see your grandmother.你最好还是去看一看你外婆。

　　10.用I'd rather表示。例如：

　　I'd ratter you didn't tell him what you put for the last blank.我倒希望你不要告诉他你最后一个空格填的是什么。

　　II.建议答语

　　A.对建议的肯定答语

　　1. All right.行。

　　2. OK, that's fine.行，好极了。

　　3. That sounds like a good idea.听起来是个好主意。

　　4. That suits me all right.那对我正合适。

　　5. That'll be OK by me.我看这行。

　　B.对建议作否定的答语

　　1. No way!不行！

　　2. Not a bit.没门！

　　3. Impossible.不可能。

　　4. Can't be done.不行。

　　5. I'd rather you wouldn't.我倒希望你别这样。

　　6. I wouldn't hear of it.我不想再听见这样说了。

　　7. I'm not quite keen actually.实际上我不太感兴趣。

　　8. No, don't bother.不用了，别费心啦。

　　9. I don't think I'll, but thank you all the same.我想我不了，不过还是要谢谢你。

　　10. I'd like that, but I don't afford the time.我倒挺想这样做，可就是没时间。

　　11. I regret to say I can't accept your suggestion.很遗憾，我不能接受你的建议。

　　12. I'm afraid your proposal is not acceptable.恐怕你的提议不能被接受。
