　　I. Useful Expressions

　　1. -I think staying at home is boring. What's your intention? 我想呆在家里真没劲。你有什么打算？

　　-Go out for a boating. 出去划划船。

　　2. -Are you thinking of going to Beijing this summer? 今年夏天你想去北京吗？

　　-Yes, I plan to go to see the Great Wall. 是的，我计划去看看长城。

　　3. -What will you be doing tomorrow? 明天你将干什么？

　　-I've no idea. Maybe I'll be staying at home, watching TV. 我不知道。也许我将呆在家里看电视。

　　4. -Have you decided to take that job? 你决定干那项工作了吗？

　　-Not yet. I'd like to hear your opinion. 还没有。我想听听你的意见。

　　5. -What are you doing at the weekend? 你周末将做什么？

　　-Nothing special. Do you have any plans? 没有什么特别的。你有什么打算吗？

　　6. -What would you like to do tomorrow evening? 明天晚上你想做什么？

　　-I expect to watch a football match. 我期待看场足球赛。

　　7. -Do you intend to help her? 你打算帮助她吗？

　　-Yes. What she needs most now is help. 是的。她现在最需要的是帮助。

　　8. -You plan to have a party this Saturday, don't you? 你本周六打算举行一个聚会，是吗？

　　-Yes. Why not join us? 是的, 何不加入我们呢？

　　9. -There is a chance to go to Qingdao. Who will be the lucky one? 有一个去青岛的机会。谁会有这个运气呢？

　　-I mean you to go. 我想让你去。

　　10. -I've decided not to go abroad. I'm badly needed in the work. 我已决定不出国了。这工作非常需要我。

　　-But that's a chance many people are dreaming of. 但那是很多人梦寐以求的机会。

　　II. Cultural Information

　　If you want to know someone's intentions, you can ask him or her. But you'd better avoid asking someone's intentions to marriage, religion, salary and so on, because these questions are considered private questions.
