Executive Search And Recruitment Firms

  Entry-level placement is not an area of interest for most of the major executive search firms for several reasons:

  1. Clients usually engage them to identify candidates for specific positions. The executive search firm is to plough the landscape for someone who has the relevant experience and credentials. Fresh graduates do not come into the picture given this backdrop.

  2. Total compensation package at the entry-level is low compared to people already in the business with several years of experience.

  Your chance with these established executive search firms may not yield meaningful results if you are a fresh graduate with no relevant experience.

  Given the advent of Internet technology since the late 1990s, there is a new breed of recruitment & placement business, the web-based recruiting firms. These firms aggregate human resource data by inviting job seekers to input their resumes and other related attributes directly to their database. These firms are able to efficiently aggregate huge amounts of information across a wide range of industries and levels of jobs. Utilizing content manager software and search engine with selection filters, they are able to match the requirements of the job search assignment they received from employers. Upon finding a suitable match, they will perform the brick-and-mortar function like any executive search firm, arranging interviews and negotiating for compensation.

猎头公司

  大部分大型猎头公司对于初级职位的招聘没多大兴趣,原因如下:

  1.客户通常请他们寻找特定职位的人选。猎头公司要尽量发掘有相关经验和资历的人,在这种前提下毕业生不会被考虑。

  2.相对而言,初级职位人员的待遇比在业内有丰富经验的人要低很多。

  如果你是毫无经验的毕业生,你将不是这些猎头公司的主要对象。

  自从20世纪90年代网络时代到来以后,就出现了一种全新的招聘就业渠道——网络招聘公司。这类公司请找工作者将自己的简历和相关特征直接输入数据库,这样,它们就能很有效地搜集广泛的行业和层面的应聘者信息。通过运用内容管理软件和带过滤器的搜索引擎,他们可以为雇主找寻到符合条件的员工。一旦发现合适的人选,它们会像其他任何一家猎头公司一样,开始安排面试,商讨酬金等事宜。
