　　The Olympic Games is held every four years. Each time is in a different city. The first Olympic Games was held in Ancient Greece. The name “Olympic” comes from the word “Olympia”. When a runner reaches the stadium with a lighted torch from Greece, the games begin.

　　The athletes compete in various events: judo, gymnastics, jumping, badminton, swimming, diving and so on. The winners don't get any prize money, instead the first three in an event get gold, silver and bronze medals.

　　Beijing will host the 29th Olympics in 2008. Sometimes, you can hear people saying: “Hip, hip, hip, hip hooray.”I want to say, I believe Beijing will give the world the best Olympics in history.
