　　Manoeuvers in the Dark's , Andy McCluskey, Kerry Katona, Liz McLarnon, and Natasha Hamilton hailed from Liverpool and were in search of an outlet to fulfill their pop star dreams.

　　And they were barely out of their teens when a quickie deal with Innocent Records in summer 1999 sealed the deal for Atomic Kitten. and "See Ya" was instant Top 10 hits in Europe.

　　Throughout 2000 the Kittens enjoyed hugely successful visits to Japan where the band recorded a TV ad for a leading brand of chocolate and also rush-released their debut album Right Now due to the incredible demand for anything Kitten! They have since become Japan's biggest new international act both in terms of sales and profile.

　　They are also the chosen international band at the forefront of MTV Asia's new campaign which began in Beijing in June and saw the Kittens reaching an incredible audience of 675 million people across Asia with a roof-raising performance on the MTV Asia awards alongside Aqua and Alanis Morissette.

　　A cover of Blondie's "The Tide Is High" followed several months later while stateside attention began to heat up, placing Atomic Kitten next to the likes of The Supremes and The Spice Girls for having more than a dozen singles hit #1 on the charts. With the success of two more singles from their 2002 album Feels So Good -- "Be With You" and "The Last Goodbye" - Atomic Kitten landed a US deal with Virgin before the year's end. Atomic Kitten made their self-titled American debut, which was slated for an April 2003 street date.
