　　《PEP小学英语》(义务教育课程标准实验教科书)五年级上册第五单元第一课时。

　　二、教学重点和难点

　　重点：1. 掌握词汇curtain, closet, air-conditioner, mirror, end table, trash bin。

　　2. 听、说、认读part A的单词和句子。

　　难点：1. 理解并且掌握Let's chant 的内容。

　　2. 能够简单介绍自己房间里的物品。

　　三、课前准备

　　CAI，图片。

　　四、教学过程

　　I. Warm up

　　1. Sing a song: My Small Bedroom

　　2. Daily greeting

　　What's the weather like today? What day is it today?

　　How many rooms are there in your house? Do you have a bedroom? Do you have tables in your bedroom?

　　II. Presentation and practice

　　1. T: Everyone has a bedroom. I have a bedroom, too. Do you want to have a look? (屏幕显示一个十分简易的房间)Look at my new bedroom. What's in my bedroom?

　　S: A bed, a table, a chair, a bookcase, books, windows.

　　T: My bedroom is too empty. I want something else.(点击出现空调)I want an air-conditioner (read it). I have an air-conditioner in my bedroom.(用点击的方式教curtain, closet, mirror, end table 和trash bin。)

　　2. Ask and answer

　　T: What's in my bedroom?

　　S: A curtain, a closet, a mirror...

　　3. Games

　　(1)A missing game: You have to look all the things in the screen, then one picture will miss, you will tell me “What's missing?”

　　(2)Memory work:

　　A: In my room I have a trash bin.

　　B: In my room I have a trash bin and a mirror.

　　C: In my room I have a trash bin, a mirror and an air-conditioner.

　　4. T: Look at this trash bin. It's empty. There is no garbage in it. Look at that trash bin. It's full of garbage. (Learn the word “garbage” then listen and chant.)

　　5. Chant game: “Make Me Cool”

　　S1: Closet, closet, open the closet!

　　S2: Curtain, curtain, close the curtain!

　　S3: Mirror, mirror, clean the mirror!

　　S4: Trash bin, trash bin, empty the trash bin!

　　S5: End table, end table, move the end table.

　　S6: Air-conditioner, air-conditioner, make me cool.

　　III. Assessment

　　1. CAI出现一棵树，树上有各种颜色的苹果，每个苹果上有一个问题：

　　T: Which apple do you like?

　　S: I like the red apple.

　　T: OK, listen. What thing we always put garbage in?

　　S: Trash bin.

　　IV. Homework

　　1. Write the cards and put on the things.

　　2. Do housework for your parents.
