　　This is Kitty. She is 10 years old.

　　Come and meet my friend Amy.

　　3. Asking for permission and help:

　　—Can I borrow your rubber?

　　—Yes, you can.

　　—May I use your ruler?

　　—Sorry, I don’t have one.

　　4. Talking about one’s likes and the reasons:

　　Do you like swimming?

　　She doesn’t like Maths. Because it’s too hard.

　　I love playing computer games.

　　5. Talking about festivals:

　　Merry Christmas!

　　Happy New Year!

　　What is your favourite festival?

　　Christmas is my favourite festival. Because I can get gifts (礼物) from my parents.
