　　考点透视： a world of意为“许多”。world指“世界”，通常与定冠词the连用，但当其被某些形容词或其它定语修饰时前面常用不定冠词，表示“……的世界”。

　　考题重现： It is ______ world of wonders, ______ world where anything can happen. (以下选项划线处为答案，下同)

　　A. a；the B. a; a C. the; a D. 不填；不填

　　2. ..., but they can still be friends if they share the same goals, hopes and dreams.

　　考点透视：share作动词的意思是“分享, 均分, 共有, 分配”，可以作及物动词或不及物动词，“分享 / 分担某物”用share (in) sth.，“与某人分享某物”用share sth. with sb.。作名词的意思是“共享, 参与, 一份, 部分, 份额”。

　　考题重现：Let Harry play with your toys as well, Clare—you must learn to ______.

　　A. support B. care C. spare D. share

　　解读：由句中as well“也”可以知道句意是指“学会分享”，而support的意思是“支持，扶持，维护，赡养”；care 的意思是“注意，照料”；spare的意思是“节省，分让”，故选D。

　　3. It looked as if the creature had moved.

　　考点透视：as if同as though，意思是“似乎，好像，仿佛”，可以接不定式或从句。跟从句时在句中引导状语从句或表语从句，谓语动词多用过去时代替现在时，表示比喻或夸大，即用虚拟语气。其中be动词多用were，如果表示可能的现实，则从句不用虚拟语气。

　　考点透视：room作“房间”解是可数名词，作“空间, 余地”解是不可数名词。短语make room for...的意思是“给……让地方(留空间)”。

　　A. place B. area C. spare D. room

　　5. He walked up to the creature and listened to the question.

　　考点透视：walk up to意为“走近”。up to可以作固定短语，意思是“直到，(口)从事于 (一般指不正当的事情)，忙于，适于，轮到”。

　　考题重现：

　　—What do you want to do next? We have half an hour until the basketball game.

　　— ______. Whatever you want to do is fine with me.

　　A. It just depends B. It's up to you C. All right D. Glad to hear that

　　解读：根据答句“Whatever you want to do is fine with me.(无论你想做什么对我来说都很好。)”可知选B。句型It's up to sb. to do sth.的意思是“由某人来决定做某事”。
