　　德国汉莎航空公司专门为头等舱乘客建立了一座全新独立的候机楼休息厅，这在国际航空领域内是绝无仅有的。位于法兰克福机场的头等舱休息厅于2004年12月竣工，占地面积超过1.9万平方英尺，其中的"雪茄"休息厅全部装备了真皮扶手椅。餐厅中提供自己烹制的新鲜面包，还有来自于苏格兰的烟熏鲑鱼和威尼斯的精美糕点。休息厅中的个人办公室和豪华房间拥有自己的独立浴室和淋浴，整个休息厅的氛围看起来好像酒店，而不仅仅是机场休息厅。这里的每一位乘客都被安排有自己的个人助理，代为处理行李检查等事宜，并且乘客可以乘坐机场提供的奔驰S级别或者宝时捷豪华轿车去往自己的飞机，毫无疑问来到这里的乘客大多都会有一种流连忘返的感觉。

　　Lufthansa is the first airline to build an entirely new terminal dedicated exclusively to its first-class passengers. The facility, which was completed at Frankfurt Airport in Germany in December 2004, is over 19,000 square feet large and features a Cigar Lounge with leather armchairs. The gourmet restaurant has its own bakery and serves smoked salmon from Scotland and Viennese pastries. Individual offices or luxurious rooms with their own bathrooms and showers lend the terminal the atmosphere of a hotel, not an airport. Every passenger is assigned a personal concierge who handles checking the luggage, and a Mercedes S-Class or Porsche Cayenne shuttles the passengers to their planes, if they can tear themselves away from the luxurious lounge.
