　　【例1】Mental acts comprise thinking, planning, devising.思想活动包括思考、计划与设计。

　　【例2】A year is comprised of the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and writer.一年由春夏秋冬四季组成。

　　【构词】com-(一起)+pris(=take，抓)+e→一起抓→包含

　　【同义替换】consist(of)， include, (be)composed(of)， constitute

　　★ dictate

　　v.口授；(使)听写；指令，指示，命令

　　【例1】Businessmen often dictate their letters.商人常口授信稿令人笔录。

　　★ hysterical

　　a.情绪异常激动的，歇斯底里的

　　a.有影响的；有权势的

　　【例2】He used his influential friends to help him get into the civil service by the back door.他利用那些有权有势的朋友帮助他走后门，到政府行政部门任职。
