小花出生时身长不足30厘米

　　A hospital is taking care of a tiny baby girl who was born after only six months in the womb in Qinhuangdao, North China’s Hebei province, Beijing Morning Post reported on Thursday。

　　When born in August, the baby weighed only 580 grams and was 28 centimeters long. Her skin was transparent, and her hands and feet were only the size of an adult’s fingernail。

　　The baby is the result of her mother’s fifth pregnancy. The woman, who is nearly 50 years old, has previously been pregnant four times. She aborted her first pregnancy. Her second and third children were born healthy, but died as children. She miscarried her fourth pregnancy。

　　The hospital conducted surgery to close the baby’s artery duct when she was 25 days old, and has formed a team to take care of her。

　　记者近日在秦皇岛市妇幼保健院新生儿科看到，医生正在给被称为“拇指姑娘”的新生儿小花(化名)检查身体、按摩。“拇指姑娘”是河北省昌黎县一位近50岁高龄的孕妇因胎盘早剥，孕27周时被迫提前来到这个世上的女婴。

　　据小花的主治医生王月怡介绍，小花8月13日出生时，头只有鹅蛋大小，手臂只有成人小指般粗细，脚掌和手掌只有成人指甲大小，全身皮肤犹如一层保鲜膜般晶莹剔透，孕27周，身长28厘米，体重580克，各脏器发育非常不成熟。养儿育女、传宗接代对一个家庭来说是简单而顺其自然的事，然而对小花的父母来说却是如此的艰难。第一个孩子人工流产，第二个孩子生后夭折，第三个孩子出生时摔在了地上，导致颅内出血脑瘫，养了13年后夭折，第四个孩子自然流产，小花是他们的第五个孩子。

　　为了挽救小花的生命，医院专门成立了一个由多名新生儿医疗专家和经验丰富的护士组成的医疗救护小组。小花出生20天后，心脏超声检查证实患儿存在动脉导管未闭，如果不给予手术结扎治疗，将在新生儿期夭折。9月8日，心脏只有鹌鹑蛋大小的小花，在她出生后的第25天，医疗专家为其实施了床旁动脉导管结扎手术。（英文来源：中国网）
