　　Chinese Seal------Dancing Beijing

　　The Olympic emblem(奥运会徽) for the 2008 Olympic Games was shown to the public in Beijing, August 3, 2003.The emblem, named “Chinese Beijing”, was designed as a Chinese seal with the words “Beijing 2008”written below. The Chinese word “Jing” meaning Beijing appears on the seal. It looks like a lively dancer, opening his arms to the world. The seal is red, an important colour for the Chinese people, and red also represents good luck.

　　I think“Dancing Beijing”will attract more and more people from the world to Beijing and Beijing will open its arms to people from all over the world in 2008.

　　点评：作者准确地传达了提示内容所要表达的意思，虽然看起来有点像翻译，但是即便是翻译，也是很到位的，这不是每个初中生都能完成的。在语言方面，作者显得非常地娴熟老练，比如be designed to, appear, represent等难词的运用体现作者厚实的积累，此外，作者还非常自然地使用了状语，同谓语，后置修饰语等手法使一句话传达了很丰富的意思。
