Nikky：well, I don't know it exactly , perhaps he did some voice impersonations(模仿别人的声音，美国的一种娱乐方式) that some people heard. And then he got accepted to Julliard.(我也不是很清楚，可能是他有一种口技绝活，然后别人听了，接着他就被Julliard相中了)

　　Brian：who is Julliard(Julliard是谁？)

　　Nikky：a very, very famous Hollywood director(一个非常，非常有名的好莱坞导演【注】美国人也说very, very，我曾经一度以为这是个非常中国化的用法)

　　Brian：I see , from his acting I can tell that he is good guy in real life too, I can imagine that from his eye, u know , he is just so gentle and so in love with his wife, but his wife and their son, they are both died, a car accident, and he lost all of his memory, when he come around a little bit, he met Jennifler(是呀，从他的演技我可以推测出在现实生活中他也是个好人，他的眼睛告诉我，他很绅士，很爱他的妻子，但是他的妻子和儿子都死了，一场车祸，他失去了所有的记忆，当他逐渐恢复记忆的时候，他遇见了詹妮佛.洛佩兹)

　　Nikky：he is a good guy, especially has a good attitude toward the fame, u know, Brian, in America, he is really a upcoming guy(他人挺好，而且对名利有好的心态，在美国，他很upcoming【注】upcoming确实是一个很好的词，表示某人正处于上升阶段，事业等，你可以向别人介绍周迅或者章子怡upcoming).

　　Brian：is“upcoming”means that someone at his time or very famous now?

　　(‘upcoming'是不是表示某人正走红，非常出名？)

　　Nikky：yup, and when he was interviewed on what he thought about the fame, he just said we aren't as great as they say we are, and we aren't as bad either.(我们不象外界说的那样优秀，但也没有他们说的那样差) we have to disconnect ourselves from it. When we go home, we have to be who we are; people will forget who we are and the praise will stop. we have to be careful of fame. I was told one time that its like a red balloon full of air and it draws a lot of attention. But then once a needle pokes it, you're done.(名利就象一个红气球一样，你的确能吸引很多注意，但一旦碰到针扎你一下，你就完了)

　　Brian：“we aren't as great as they say we are, and we aren't as bad either”，good sentence, I will find a pen to write it down, whenever I hear some good phrases, I'd like to write it down(‘我们不象外界说的那样优秀，但也没有他们说的那样差'，好句子，我要找笔把它记下来，每当我发现好句子的时候，我就把它抄下来)

　　Nikky：that's a good habit(这是个好习惯【注】Nikky也表扬我学英语的好习惯)

　　Brian：thanks a lot, I just wonder nowadays in America especially for a man like a famous movie star with both fame and money, there are a lot of traps(这个世界实在是太多诱惑，特别是当人有了名利以后) and they can easily get caught in, that so hard for them to keep ----(他们很容易陷进去，所以很难保持----)

　　Nikky：a lot of traps for everyone with fame and money (对于每一个有名有利的人来说，会遇到很多陷阱)

　　Brian：and he is better people than he acts(对于一个演员来讲，关键是学会做人，演戏倒是次要的，做人不好，演戏也是不好的)

　　Nikky：to be a better people(做个好人)

　　Brian的小结：这次和Nikky谈到一个也许很多人并不知晓的电影《Angel Eyes/天使之眼》，很喜欢里面的男主角吉姆.卡维泽，他在美国非常upcoming.

　　Nikky：what time is it now in Shanghai, Brian?(Brian，现在上海几点了？)

　　Brian：it's late，I mean your time there, here in Shanghai, it's just Afternoon(有点晚了，我指你们那里的时间，上海现在只是下午)

　　Nikky：so what u gonna do afternoon, Brian(下午打算做什么,Brian：rian?)

　　Brian：dear Nikky, I forget to tell u that an IBM sister company will visit our company and I'm asked to join the business meeting, so I get go and really hope to talk with u later(亲爱的Nikky，我忘了告诉你今天有个IBM的子公司来我们公司访问，我要参加会议的，所以我得走了，希望能尽快再次见到你)

　　Nikky：I'm just going to bed too, have a good meeting, Brian(我也该休息了，你去开会吧，Brian)

　　Brian：have a good sleep, Nikky(睡个好觉，Nikky)

　　Nikky：I will, u too, but not sleep, forshavingsa good day(我会的，你也一样，但不是睡觉，希望你有好的一天)

　　Brian：ok, bye, Nikky(再见，Nikky)

　　Nikky：bye, my friend.(再见，我的朋友)
