　　Nikky: a friend of mine give Heather to me two days after he was born. (我的一个朋友在它出生两天后就把它给了我)

　　Brian: must be very cute! (一定很可爱！【注】cute是个很可爱的形容词；有时候一个小小的形容词就可以使你在老外眼中不一样，大学里，一个美国女教师给我留下了很深的印象，在第一次和她谈话的时候，她流利的中文很让我惊讶，于是我就说‘你的中文真的很好呀'，然后她听了谦虚的回答我：“不瞒你说，我中文真的不是很好”，这一个“不瞒你说”让我对她再次刮目相看)

　　Nikky: yeah, I just take one look at this baby and the baby was mine, I mean, it would just take your heart away.(我只看了一眼就知道它是属于我的了，它能把你的心带走)

　　Brian: u can be a good mom, I can see that.(你一定会当个好妈妈，我能看出来)

　　Nikky: I think if I get a baby, it will take my heart away too.(我想如果我有一个孩子的话，她也会把我的心带走的)

　　Brian: so why not find someone to marry and have a baby u both love and live happily ever after , instead of sitting in front of the computer and talking to some virtual guy like me far far away from China!(那为什么不找个人结婚，然后生个你们俩都爱的小孩从此过着幸福美满的生活，而不是坐在电脑面前和一个远在中国的虚拟网络世界里的人聊天)

　　Brian: maybe someday u can be here, u Americans don't have the visa problems if it were on your shoes , would you like to go some places , such as the Oriental Pearl TV Towel (the biggest TV towel in Asian) or the skyscrapers?(也许有一天你能到这来，你们美国人又没有什么签证问题.如果换作是你的话，你喜欢到哪种地方，比如说上海的东方明珠塔<亚洲最高的电视塔>，或者是那些摩天大厦？)

　　Nikky: towel(塔)

　　Brian: well, it's 483 meters high and the 3rd biggest towel in the world just standing upon the Huangpu river in shanghai, I used to be a part time guide, this boring area is enough for me，don't know why this is a life-long interest for the people outside shanghai(好吧，它有483米高，世界第3大高塔，就在黄浦江旁边，这个地方对我来说很无聊，搞不懂为什么所有的外地人来上海必去东方明珠塔)

　　Nikky: wow i would love to see that cause see i live in nyc so i see enough skyscrapers. (喔，在纽约，高楼大厦看的太多了，所以对塔还是感兴趣的)

　　Brian: i see your point, beside the towel , there is a very high skyscraper named Jinmao Mension, 88 floors , Chinese generally have a terrific superstition on the number 8.(我明白你的意思，除了高塔以外，还有一个88层的金贸大厦，中国人不知道为什么对8都有一种说不出的迷信)

　　Nikky: how come? (为什么？)

　　Brian: I don't know either, that why the building was exactly designed to 88 floors.(我也不知道，只是这个楼正好被设计成88层)

　　Nikky: yes i guess you are right, are there temples there? (是的，我想你是对的，有没有什么庙呀，上海？)

　　Brian: it does! there is a Gold City temple here build in Ming dynasty and it's also my job to bring them there, I used to be a guide, but don't like it.(还真让你猜到了，这有个城煌庙，明代建的，当我是个导游的时候，我的任务是带他们，那些游客到那里，但是我不喜欢)

　　Nikky: but i am sure u will make wonderful guide and i would love it if u took me on a tour i like to learn.(但是你肯定是个很不错的导游，如果你肯做我的导游的话，我非常愿意去，有太多的东西要了解)

　　Brian: i will be your guide , for free.(我做你的导游，免费的)

　　Nikky: i am going to hold u to that.(我会记得你说的话的)

　　Brian: that'fine, the Yuyuan Garden( temple) was designed by gardenarchitect in Ming dynasty.(由明代的一名建筑师建造)

　　Nikky: that's a long time. (历史很久了)

　　Brian: yes, there are towers, terraces, pavilions, attics, trees, rocks and fake hills.(是的，有塔，有亭子，有阁楼，顶楼，数目，岩石和假山)

　　Nikky: oh it sounds very beautiful, may i ask you a question?

　　Brian: which make the garden more beautiful and attractive is its carvings and clay sculpture, so that is all i can say, i wish one day i can really be your guide! (让这个更吸引人的地方是这里的雕刻和黏塑艺术品，就这些了，希望有一天真的当你导游)do not hesitate , just ask (不要犹豫，尽管问吧)

　　【Brain小结】：这次说到要给Nikky免费当导游，实际上以前在上海给别人当导游的时候也没有收过别人的钱，只是为了锻炼英语，厚着脸皮找旅行社，说免费的，不要钱，让我试试，这样一试就干了大半年，钱是没有挣着，但泡美国妞的水平是突飞猛涨。
