　重点·难点·考点及疑点注释

　　1next to意为“紧靠的”，“下一个”等，是介词短语。例如：

　　I sit next to Lucy.我坐在露茜的旁边。

　　The book store is next to our school.书店在我们学校隔壁。

　　2Excuse me. Where's the nearest post office, please?

　　excuse me.和sorry.都有“对不起”之意。但前者是打扰人，使人不便或请求允许之前的客套话，意思除“对不起”之外，还有“劳驾”，“请求”，“请原谅”等。而后者是做错事之后的道歉词语，在无法向人提供帮助时也用

　　sorry。例如：

　　Excuse me. Could you tell me how to get to the railway station?

　　劳驾，您能告诉我怎么去火车站吗?

　　Excuse me. What's the time, please?

　　请问，现在几点钟?

　　Excuse me. Is this your bike?

　　请问，这是你的自行车吗?

　　3Thank you all the same.

　　all the same意思是“(虽然……，)还是”，“仍然”。

　　Thank you all the same.

　　是虽然对方没有给你满意的答复或满足你的要求时，仍然有礼貌地向对方表示谢意的用法。这句话很难找到与其对应的中文译文，可视语境予以灵活处理。

　　4询问方向和指点方向

　　(1)问路：How can I get to the post office?

　　Which is the way to the hospital?

　　Which way shall I take to the hospital?

　　Excuse me. Is there a fruit shop near here?

　　Could/Can you tell me the way to the park?

　　Could/Can you tell me how to get to the station?

　　(2)指路：Walk/Go along this road, and take the third turning on the left.

　　It's about a hundred metres along on the right/left.

　　The nearest is about 4 kilometres away.

　　It's quite near/far from here.

　　It's about ten minutesride/walk (from here).
