　　同学们，下面我们看看竞赛题中的句式转换题吧。

　　A)按要求转换下列句式，每空词数不限。

　　66. My aunt often does the shopping when she's free.(改为一般疑问句)

　　　　your aunt often　　　　the shopping when she's free?

　　答案：Does, do。主语为第三人称单数，且为一般现在时，所以应借助does变问句, 后面应用动词原形do。

　　67. Twenty years ago they used that machine to make shoes for soldiers. (改为被动语态)

　　Twenty years ago that machine　　　　shoes for soldiers.

　　答案：was used to make。主动语态变被动语态就是将原句的宾语放在主语的位置，后面用"be + 动词的过去分词"。

　　68. His little sister did her homework and washed the clothes last night.(改为否定句)

　　His little sister

　　_________did her homework________washed the clothes last night.

　　答案：neither, nor。neither... nor... 连接两个并列的谓语。意思是"既不……，也不……"。

　　69. New York is 14,800 kilometres away from Beijing.(改为特殊疑问句)

　　________is New York from Beijing?

　　答案：How far(away)/How many kilometres。对距离提问用How far(away), 本题也可用How many kilometres。

　　70.The children had a wonderful time in Disney Land last summer holiday!(改为感叹句)

　　________wonderful time the children_________in Disney Land last summer holiday!

　　答案：What a, had。因为中心词是名词，变为感叹句应用what, 后一个空仍用had。

　　B)根据上句完成下句，使两句表达的意思基本相同，每空一词。

　　答案：instead of。instead是副词，多位于句尾。instead of 是介词短语，表示"代替"、"而不"，后面可跟与前面并列成分相应的词或词组。

　　Bob's lonely because he_________　_________at making friends.

　　答案：isn't good。对他来说交朋友很难，也就是说，他不擅长交朋友。

　　答案：are able。can相当于be able to，都是"能"之意。

　　答案：be covered。沙漠变绿，也就是说沙漠被绿树覆盖。be covered with 就是"被……覆盖"之意。
