　　3. 反身代词可作主语的同位语，置于主语后或句末，对主语起强调作用，表示"自己"、"亲自"、"本人"、"本身"等意思。如：

　　You yourself did it. / You did it yourself. 这是你自己做的事。

　　He himself was a doctor. 他本人就是一个大夫。

　　4. 反身代词可作宾语的同位语，位于宾语之后。如：

　　I didn't see Tom himself yesterday. 昨天我没见到汤姆本人。

　　Mr Green made his little daugher herself do some washing. 格林先生让他的小女儿自己洗衣服。

　　反身代词能不能作主语呢？本公司郑重宣布：反身代词一般不能单独作主语。那么反身代词能不能作表语呢？反身代词可以作表语。如：

　　The poor boy was himself. 那个可怜的男孩就是他自己。
