1. share ; spare

　　1) spare v. 留出(时间)做某事；挤出(时间)；不用；均出

　　I'll call on you if you can spare me the time. 如果你能挤出时间，我会拜访你的。

　　spare no efforts to do sth. 不遗余力做某事

　　adj. 多余的；剩余的；(时间)空暇的

　　in one's spare time 在某人的业余时间里

　　Do you have a spare wheel in your car？ 你的车上有多余的车轮吗？

　　2) share sth. with sb.和别人分享某物；共用

　　There is only one bedroom, so we'll have to share. 只有一个卧室，所以我们得合着用。

　　share in sth. 分摊或分享某物

　　She shares in my troubles as well as my joys. 她与我同甘共苦。

　　share n. 一份;份额

　　He did his share of the work. 他干了他的那份工作。

　　2. effect; affect; afford; effort

　　1) effect n. 结果；效力；作用；影响

　　be of no effect 无效

　　put (carry/ bring) sth. into effect 实行

　　come into effect 生效；实行，实施

　　The medicine failed to bring about the desired effect. 这药未能产生预期的效果。

　　2) affect v. 影响

　　The change in climate may affect your health. 气候的变化可能影响你的健康。

　　3) afford v. 花得起，买得起，抽出时间，常和can, could, be able to连用，后面跟名词、不定式等；给予；经得起。

　　At last we were able to afford a car. 最后我们终于能买得起一辆车了。

　　4) effort 努力

　　make an effort 努力

　　make a special effort 做出特殊的努力

　　make every effort 做出一切努力

　　with great effort 全力
