谈谈高一英语教材师生互动活动的设计②

  三、Speaking课型师生互动活动设计

  以上海浦东磁悬浮列车的开通为话题,谈论新科技的应用带来的好处与不足,另外还有四项新科技的应用问题有待于学生发挥创造力、想象力去完成。通过对这些话题的谈论,学生应该掌握有关描述“好处和不足”的常用句型。这些练习有利于激发学生学好英语的积极性,因为这些话题并不陌生,就在学生身边。然后让学生分组讨论书中所列出的科技运用的利弊。

  师生互动活动设计:

  Task:

  T: Now let's listen to a dialogue. It is about the different opinions of the highspeed maglev train in Shanghai. Then you are to read it. And you'd better act it out, for it is an example for you to take, so that you can work in pairs and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of some other scientific discoveries and applications.

  Task: Divide Ss into groups to discuss the other discoveries and applications. They can choose the topics from the book or the information they collected. Teacher can have a dialogue with a good student first to make sure Ss will have something to say.

  四、Reading课型师生互动活动设计

  Reading部分详细描述了富兰克林所进行的一次科学实验:在雷鸣闪电时放风筝以验证闪电与电的关系的实验。文中详细叙述了富兰克林实验的目的、材料、过程、注意事项和所得结论。通过这篇文章的学习,学生要学会如何描述实验过程,并学习富兰克林对科学的执着、探究精神。阅读课文,做判断正误的练习。让学生试着总结富兰克林做电学实验的步骤。教师然后进行归纳和总结。

  师生互动活动设计:

  Task: Skim the text to get the general understanding. Ask Ss to read the text quickly to find out the things mentioned about the experiment.

  The things mentioned:

  (1) the purpose to do the experiment: prove the relationship between lightning and electricity

  (2) the result of the experiment: successful

  (3) the materials needed for the experiment: a kite, a key, some really bad weather and a condenser

  (4) the instruction for making the kite for the experiment: first, second, third, etc.

  (5) carrying out the experiment: fly, stand, collect and store the electricity

  Ask several Ss to give the above answers. They can have a discussion with their partners.

  五、Language Study课型师生互动活动设计

  先引导学生列举一词多义和复合词的例子,然后由教师归纳总结。

  师生互动活动设计:

  Task: Ask Ss to have competition to see who can give more compound words quickly, one student in each group every time.

  六、Integrating Skills课型师生互动活动设计

  Integrating Skills先由学生说出动物实验的利与弊,通过对动物实验的两个问题——可行性(有效度)和权力问题的讨论,使学生对动物实验的认识更明确。鼓励学生大胆设想,提出有价值的建议并能有条理地表示个人的见解及态度。要求学生在一定的时间内快速阅读Workbook中Integrating skills,并抓住其主题及结构特点。完成英语课程标准中要求的课外阅读量并能模仿此篇实验报告,写出自己的报告。然后教师进行总结并讲述论文的写作方法以及写作结构。

  师生互动活动设计:

  Task: Ask Ss to read the text quickly to get the outline of the writing.

  T: First, read through the reading to grasp the general idea, then get the outline and you will know how to write this kind of article.

  S: It's an experiment report. From the first sentence we know this experiment is used to separate different liquids.

  T: Very good!What about the outline? When you are writing, you should have an outline first. It will help you be sure of the points you will write about.

  S: The chart in the Writing is the answer.

  Next ask Ss to write down the key words about each part of this experiment to see if they can fully understand it.

  师生互动活动设计能启发学生思考,给学生提供思维空间。师生互动活动设计通过组织、促进引导学生学习,师生交往互动,共同成长。(全文完)
