On the way back to the tree he saw some cows. "What are the cows doing at night? I thought cows slept at night too. Maybe I'll count the cows." He flew over to them and started to count. "One, two, three, four, five. There are not enough cows to count. I can't go to sleep by counting five cows. " The tired bird flied for his nest.

　　"What's that?" He was flying down to the lake. "Fish! I thought fish slept at night. I'll count fish." He began to count them. "One, two, three." SPLASH(飞溅)! "Watch out. Don't splash on me." He shouted to a fish. His wings were wet now. "I don't want to count fish." He flew towards his nest.

　　Jerry were getting very tired. He started to yawn(打哈欠). "I've been up all night. The sun is starting to rise now. I can't fly another inch(英寸)." He flew down to the ground and sat next to a rock. "I'll just sit here for a few minutes and then fly back to my nest." He sat down and he fell fast asleep.
