　　比赛演讲稿

　　The 2008 Beijing Olympics and Me

　　Despite my father being a super sports fan, to be frank, I’m not that interested in the Olympics. I’ve never seriously sit down and finished watching one of those games. But I guess this time it’s a little different, China is warmly welcoming the magnificent sports meeting to its capital, now that I’m in Beijing, why not give it a big passionate hug? Well I know how passion feels like; I definitely get crazy headed the minute I step into a rock show. The Olympics could turn out to be even more exciting than that. I hate to be far away from the core of this tide, I need to catch some Olympics fever! Where is this fever? I can’t see it I can’t feel it when it comes to a small city called ChangSha which is a hundred thousand miles away from where the fever germs come out. I suppose then I’m here with a mission of catching some of the Olympics fever and bring it back to ChangSha, fever from the fever core! As a devoted teenager who represents the future of this nation, sitting back home doing nothing about the Beijing Olympics would be the last thing I’m supposed to do. Then make me a germ, a germ that spreads the Olympics fever to places that could only get in touch with the Olympics LIVE on TV, this is how the Olympics tide soon covers up this whole country, only in that way could Chinese people be prepared enough to open up a window to the world, to express the deep content of our culture and bridge us to the international society in a charming way. And this is what I’m going to tell my friends back home: when the Olympics fever comes around do make sure you catch a big part of it!

　　虽然我父亲是一个超级体育迷，老实说，我对奥林匹克运动会没有太大的兴趣。我从来 没有认真地看完过其中的任何一场比赛。不过这一次，我想大概有点儿不一样了。因为这场体育盛会即将来到中国的首都。既然我已经在北京了，为什么不给这场盛会一个大大的充满激情的拥抱呢？我知道充满激情的感受，一场摇滚演出绝对会让我头脑发热起来。奥林匹克运动会当然会比一场小小的演出更令人激动了！可惜的是我离这股热潮的 中心太远了，我得赶上奥林匹克热才行！可是奥林匹克热在哪儿呢？在一个距离北京很远的城市――长沙，我看不见它更感觉不到它。这么一来我当然应该要把这股热从北京带回我的家乡长沙，来自热浪中心的热浪！作为一名肩负祖国希望的青少年，对于北京奥林匹克无动于衷绝对是不行的。我得把自己变成一个传播热浪的细菌，把这股激动人心的奥林匹克热，传播到只能在电视上感受奥林匹克的小城市里去。只有当大家都成了 奥林匹克的发烧友，我们才能做好充分的准备为世界打开一扇展示中国文化连接中国与国际社会的窗户。回到长沙我会告诉身边的每一个朋友：如果奥林匹克热，来到你身边，可别忘了好好地赶上它！
