　　通过上面的表格，可以看出，从1991年到1996年，考研作文为传统的命题作文。1997年与1999年出现了图表作文，而图画作文(包括漫画与照片)在1998年出现之后，又于2000年至2008年连续出现，成为了主流类型。

　　作文部分2001年起由15分变为20分，在2005年更是变为两篇文章。下面我们就预测一下考研写作的发展方向。

　　我们认为，在未来几年中考研写作保持2005年的考试模式不变的可能性很大。2009年考研英语大纲已于今年暑期出台，写作部分与前两年相比几乎无变化。写作A节是2005年添加的，第一次考查了辞职信;2006年考查了咨询信，2007年考查了建议信，2008年则考查了致歉信。复习准备2009年考试时大家应该继续以书信为重点，另外兼顾其它的应用文，如便笺、通知和简历等。从2008年的B节来看，完全延续了数年以来考察图画作文的趋势。在2009年，这一趋势极有可能延续。
